The Plumbers Gasfitters and Drainlayers Federation is an incorporated society which has been formed out of necessity to hold the government and Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board accountable for their actions and to ensure fairness and equality in plumbing gasfitting and drainlaying regulations and legislation. Practitioners concerned about issues affecting the industry needed an outlet where they could bring issues forward. Those vastly affected by the activities of the Board in their everyday life, had no way of calling the Board to account so that’s the void the Federation is filling.
